I figured out how to reformat the G14 to a clean, un-activated installation of W10 Pro (likely common knowledge for most of you, not so much for me), and since I know I will forget the process, I wrote some instructions for myself for future reference.

You want to reformat your computer to a clean, un-activated installation of W10 Pro, and then activate it through your own means after the fact. If you are like me and have other methods of activating Windows, this isn’t what you want to do. The only way to upgrade to Pro was by buying a license via the MS Store or entering one. I could reformat as many times as I liked, but I was going to end up with a clean, licensed edition of W10 Home by way of the UEFI license.

Anyway, I wanted to reformat it to W10 Pro but found the W10 Home license loaded on the G14 via UEFI prevented me from doing so. First time poster, I have a GA401IV-BR9N6 and have had it for about two weeks.
